Instructions

    * All the selected participants (students) must attend both the sessions and mark their attendance.

    * Students from Modern College of Arts, Science & Commerce, Ganeshkhind, Pune must put their Poster/ Models/ Project on display between 03:00 pm to 05:00 pm on 29-08-2019.

    * Students from Other School / Colleges must bring their Poster/ Models/ Project on display between 08:00 am to 09:00 am on 30-08-2019.

    * All the selected participants (students) would be provided breakfast (08:00 am to 09:00 am) and lunch.

Theme of the Science Fair

Theme

    This student-centric program is organized with financial support from CTEP, DBT, Government of India, for colleges with Star Status with an aim to popularize science.

    This will provide students a grand platform for interacting with stalwarts, and showcase their scientific temperaments and talents.

    The activities include popular science lectures by the stalwarts followed by the scientific competitions (posters/models/projects with cash prizes for first three winners in life and physical/ chemical/ mathematical sciences separately).

    Theme for Posters/Project/Model Competition:
    Sustainable Agriculture and Environment


    With sub-themes: Science in nature: understanding and exploration; Green Chemistry; Biotechnological Tools for sustainable agriculture and environment; Computers and Electronics in agriculture and environment; Plastic degrading microbes; Nanotechnology; Biodiversity and its conservation; Exploring mathematical tools for sustainable development; New era, new problems and new solutions via advanced scientific tools. However, any other relevant and important themes can also be selected.
